Beginning in autumn 2021, women across the country began to experience HRT shortages, due to shortages and problems in the supply chain, caused by Covid-19-related factory shutdowns and other disruptions.

The BMS issued the following helpful guidance about what to do if women can’t get their usual prescription.

In general, if your usual prescription isn’t available, talk to your doctor or pharmacist who may be able to recommend an alternative.
