NOON goes to Margate – June 7th

Join Eleanor Mills and a joyful crew of Queenagers for a trip to the Kent seaside on Saturday June 7th.
We’ll have a a private view at the gallery for Margo in Margate, go to the seaside (and take a dip or just enjoy the view), then enjoy a late lunch together at a lovely pub. It’s a wonderful day out to this artistic seaside town.
10AM: Rendezvous at London St Pancras to catch the 10.20AM direct train to Margate (buy your own ticket here – these are currently around £30 return).
12.00PM: We’ll be having a Private View at the Margo in Margate Gallery, 36 High Street, Margate, CT91DS. This will be a chance to chat to the artist about her Queenager pivot into purpose and art, and her incredible paintings of women. Margo and Eleanor will have a short chat and there will be lots of time for questions, a drink, and engaging with art.
THEN: Swimming in the sea or the tidal pool, depending on the tide. Some swimming, sitting around and chatting. If you don’t want to swim, why not head to the Turner Contemporary Gallery and wander around the shops or harbour?
3.30PM: Late lunch at The Bull’s Head, Margate, with a special Queenager menu. We’ve reserved a room especially for us (choose your lunch and pay for it yourself).
5.32PM: Train back to London for those wanting to go back to St Pancras with Eleanor, or make your own way home.
