City Women Network: Book launch event with Eleanor Mills

City Women Network (CWN) are thrilled to invite their members and guests of members to join us for a very special evening celebrating the launch of Much More to Come. CWN in collaboration with Eleanor and NOON will gather for an evening of thought-provoking conversation, drinks, and canapés in the stunning offices of HSBC. This is a unique opportunity to hear firsthand from Eleanor about her journey and the themes of her book, while connecting with like-minded individuals in a wonderful setting.

Eleanor’s book – a Times Bestseller – serves as a a manifesto for seeing our Queenager years not as something to dread but a time to look forward to. It is, she argues “where everything comes together, where we move into our power and wisdom, when it all gets good”.

As the former editor of The Sunday Times Magazine, a columnist and interviewer of everyone from prime ministers to Sheryl Sandberg and the Dalai Lama, Eleanor had a front seat on how the male lens of the media too often defines women negatively, particularly as they age. It is time to shake off the programming and re-imagine our 100-year-lives in multiple acts. As we live longer, we are all going to have to pivot and reinvent several times. Yet this is not something we are ever warned about or taught to do.

Eleanor is an inspirational speaker who will leave you feeling energised and excited about what is to come – her talk is as relevant to women in their 20s as it is to Queenagers of 45+. When women support and understand each other, we all rise. As a former Chair of Women in Journalism and mother of two daughters, Eleanor is passionate about telling new stories about what is possible for all women.
