Managing our mother relationship in midlife

The mother-daughter relationship is famously powerful – and complicated! In our Queenager years, that can become even moreso, as we move into a new stage of our lives and our mothers get ill, pass away, require care or even reveal new aspects of their personality. For many of us midlife is when we realise our mother will never be the ideal mother that we want or need.
At this event, we’ll be talking about our relationships with our mothers, addressing how they can be complicated, fraught, combative, full of sorrow … or a thousand other emotions.
