What to expect
The day commences at the charming Wasing Pavilion, where we indulge in tea and engage in meaningful conversations. Then we embark on a serene journey with a gentle breathwork and yoga session led by the talented Lesley Thomas, setting the tone and energy for the day.
Next, we’ll take a leisurely stroll through the ancient woodland, leading us to the tranquil lake and sauna area. The Wasing retreat in July is the perfect time to immerse yourself in the pristine pure waters – and experience the bliss of alternating between dips in the wood-fired sauna perched on the lake’s edge.
New to cold-water swimming?
Fret not! Our attentive staff will provide excellent care and supervision. We’ve coaxed the most reluctant and cold-averse in and now they are converts! Additionally, you can luxuriate in the wood-cabin sauna, enjoying the warmth while engaging in friendly conversations with newfound companions, all while admiring the majestic red kites soaring above the forest canopy.
Afterward, we’ll gather around an open fire for a delicious and healthy lunch bowl. With vegetarian and vegan options available, you can savour the flavours and indulge in hot cacao and tea, nurturing your body and spirit.
Once satiated, we’ll venture to our forest yurt for a transformative Noon sharing circle, facilitated by Eleanor Mills, the esteemed Founder of Noon. Together, we’ll delve into the discussions on embracing new chapters in midlife and becoming the women we’ve always aspired to be. This sacred space fosters support and compassion, where stories are shared and hearts are heard.
