Emma Brown, Tax Consultancy Partner (left)
Applying her deep knowledge of personal and business tax, Emma works with owner managed businesses at every stage of their lifecycle. Through her pragmatic commercial advice, Emma prioritises clients’ best interests. Her attention to detail and skill at explaining complex technical matters make her a trusted and reassuring adviser.
As Head of Tax Operations, Emma oversees the running of the combined tax team across BKL and Wilson Wright, covering a huge range of expertise in personal, corporate and international taxes. Emma is a member of two DFK International committees: Women in Leadership and Tax, reinforcing her strong international links on cross-border transactions. She’s a member of Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Enterprise Investment Scheme Association (EISA).
Myfanwy Beynon-Pollitt, Partner, Head of Governance and Sustainability (right)
Myfanwy blends a grasp of the details with an understanding of the bigger picture: for each client, she is dedicated to making a difference. Her experience covers a variety of tax, accounting, audit advisory and commercial issues.
Myfanwy also enjoys giving ESG (environmental, social and governance) guidance, helping companies to operate and grow with sustainability and good business at the forefront. She won Women in Finance’s Accountancy Leader of the Year award in 2017. She was also a judge at the UK Business Awards in 2019 and 2020.
Outside work, Myfanwy is a singer with award-winning a cappella chorus Amersham A Cappella – proving that you never can take Wales out of the girl.
