NOON Divorce Support Group – Boundaries and Legal Caveats

Important Information and Professional Boundaries

Our monthly online sessions are designed to provide general guidance, education, and practical tools to support women going through separation and divorce. By registering for and attending these sessions, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Coaching and Educational Support Only
The sessions are provided for coaching, educational and informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional advice tailored to your individual circumstances.

2. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Due to the personal and complex nature of separation and divorce, we do not and cannot guarantee any particular results or outcomes from participating in the sessions or using the tools and strategies discussed.

3. No Legal Advice
We will not give legal advice, and no coach/solicitor-client relationship is created through participation in these sessions.

Any legal information shared is of a general nature only and should not be relied upon as advice for your specific situation. You should seek independent legal advice from your own solicitor before taking or refraining from any action.

4. Not Therapy or Mental Health Services
We do not provide counselling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, or mental health services, and we do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.

If you are experiencing significant emotional distress or mental health difficulties, it is your responsibility to seek support from a qualified healthcare professional, therapist, GP, or emergency services where appropriate.

5. Responsibility to Seek Specialist Advice
It remains your responsibility to seek appropriate professional advice in relation to medical, mental health, legal, financial, tax, or other specialist matters from suitably qualified professionals.

6. Personal Responsibility and Decision-Making
You remain solely responsible for your decisions, actions, and outcomes. Participation in the sessions does not remove your responsibility to make informed choices based on your own circumstances and professional advice obtained elsewhere.

7. Group Setting and Confidentiality
Sessions are delivered in a group environment. While we ask all participants to respect confidentiality and privacy, we cannot guarantee that other attendees will not disclose information shared in the group. You should only share information that you are comfortable discussing in a group setting.

8. Safeguarding and Serious Risk
If, during a session, there are concerns about serious risk of harm to yourself or others, we may need to encourage you to seek immediate professional or emergency support. These sessions are not appropriate for crisis intervention.

9. Jurisdiction
Any legal information discussed will be based on the law of England and Wales, unless stated otherwise, and may not be applicable to other jurisdictions.
