The products
The Balance Me products cover every kind of facial and body skincare need. They have ranges for all skin types, stages and conditions, from teen to mature skin, dehydrated to oily. If you suffer from skin problems like psoriasis, or pigmentation, want something to boost your collagen, a super effective serum, or a brightening eye cream, you’ll find it in their product ranges. And there are body washes and creams, and hand care products as well.
The women behind it
The company was started in 2005 by sisters Rebecca and Clare Hopkins. Rebecca (left in the pic) had worked for a global beauty brand in Paris and the UK and then retrained as a reflexologist. Clare left behind a successful business career in the city to pursue her passion for aromatherapy and yoga.
Why we love it
All the ingredients in the products are either naturally occurring, derived from or identical to natural ingredients and you’ll see the percentage of natural clearly stated on all the product labels. Any that are below 100% are preserved with approved preservatives that are kind to skin and the planet. Balance Me products aren’t tested on animals, never use parabens, silicones, sulphates, or any other artificial ingredients or fragrances or colouring. And they’re safe for both animal and sea life.
